An Active/Non-Latching control circuit incorporates a ‘re-set’ mechanism. It functions under normal conditions expected of an RCD, but it will trip in the event of a power cut or dramatic reduction in mains voltage. These RCD’s are ideal for use where circuits supplying rotating machinery or heating apparatus needs to remain off after a power cut.
